Mobile Terms of Service

1. The programme. The Rootist Inc ("Rootist," "we," "our," or "us") runs a text messaging programme for people who ask to join it. These terms govern that programme. Our Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service also apply.

2. Joining. You join by checking the SMS box at checkout, by submitting a sign-up form on rootist.com, or by texting a published keyword to our number. However you join, we send you one message asking you to confirm, and you are not subscribed until you reply to it. By joining you agree to receive recurring automated marketing text messages from us at the number you gave us. Consent is not a condition of purchasing anything.

3. Frequency and cost. Message frequency varies, and we send no more than 10 marketing messages a month. Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier charges those, not us, and what you pay depends on your plan. We do not charge for the messages themselves.

4. Leaving. Reply STOP to any message. We send one confirmation and then stop. You can rejoin at any time by replying START or by signing up again. Leaving this programme does not stop transactional messages about an order or a subscription you already have; email hello@therootist.com if you want those stopped too.

5. Help. Reply HELP to any message, or email hello@therootist.com.

6. Your number. Keep the number on your account current. If you give up a number, tell us, so we do not text the person who gets it next. You confirm the number you gave us is yours and that you are allowed to agree to charges on it.

7. Carriers and delivery. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We cannot guarantee that every message reaches you; delivery depends on your carrier, your device and your coverage. Not every device supports every message type.

8. Eligibility. The programme is available to people aged 18 or over with a mobile number in the United States. See our Privacy Policy for how we treat children's information.

9. Changes. We may change these terms. When we do, we revise the date at the top, and if the change is material we tell you before it takes effect. Continuing in the programme after that means you accept the change.

10. Privacy. What we collect and who we share it with is described in our Privacy Policy.
