Is this powder going to show in my dark hair?
Our dry shampoo is designed with a vanishing tint that blends seamlessly into dark hair. Our Director of Education–whose hair is jet black–uses the formula and can confirm that it disappears quickly into her roots!

I wanted to love this product. But powder was falling out of the packaging before I even opened it. The powder receptacle was not screwed on properly and a large amount of product was lost and covered my other purchases. The dry shampoo seems great. The package is fine for application, but not for shipping. I tried to do a return or exchange, but I would have to pay for the return shipping. So, if i had lost ALL the powder, I may have done that. But I won't recoup the cost of shipping to send it back for a replacement. I will not be purchasing this again unless it is better packaged as I have lost money with lost product even before it was in my possession. Perhaps tape around the screw joints?

I’ll never go back to aerosol
I was skeptical at first because I’ve always used aerosol dry shampoo for dark hair. I figured I would try this because the ratings were really good and I am obsessed! I thought for sure I was going to have white or light roots from the powder, but I did not. Not only am I no longer breathing in that aerosol spray that’s horrible for your lungs this absorbs extra oils without making my hair feel gross. With that aerosol kind my hair always felt like there was a film on it almost like hay and my scalp always itched, and I would literally get white powder under my fingernails. I put this on my scalp down the middle down the sides and around the back of the crown area the day that I wash my hair. And I do not need to reapply and I get 4 to 5 days before I have to wash again. Not only do I always keep at least three or four extra so I never run out. I would pay double! The fact that all of the hair care is healthy for your scalp is by far the best part of this line. Try it you will not be sorry.

This is hands down The best dry shampoo I have ever used! I've tried tons of different brands, aerosols, powders, even homemade, and they all made my hair feel weighed down, look dirty, harder to manage and gave me an itchy scalp. The Rootist dry shampoo however actually gives me volume without changing my hair's texture, makes it look clean (ya know, like dry shampoo is supposed to do!) and it doesn't irritate my scalp at all. My 11 year old daughter loves it too!

Heard so much about the company and this product in particular. Very easy to use, it felt much better on my scalp than typical spray dry shampoos, no odor - all good qualities.
